Yub Nub The Sonar Network

Yub Nub started in 2020 as a way for comedy writers and veterans of the TV/new media wars, Tim Barnes (The Tonight Show), Greg Iwinski (The Late Show, Last Week Tonight), and Jim Fagan (Comedy Central) to survive the pandemic and push back against a faction of Star Wars fandom in love with complaining about Star Wars. Three years later, it’s become a meeting place for Star Wars and media-loving comedy nerds to talk about all things Star Wars, film, and TV through the point of view of the people who make it, and lovers of all things far far away. In each episode Tim and Jim use Star Wars as their wayfinder through the entertainment industry with occasional pop-in guests who have included James Austin Johnson (SNL), Krystina Arielle (Star Wars The High Republic Show) and Felipe Torres Medina (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert).

This is the Star Wars podcast I’ve Always Wanted
There are SO MANY Star Wards podcasts out there that seem like carbon copies of one another. YUB NUB is NOT that podcast. The unique and comedic style of the hosts keeps the conversation light and always moving forward. The George Lucas-themed series right now is also fantastic. Keep it up!
Great podcast from the perspective of writers
I first heard these guys on The Star Wars Minute and enjoyed their sense of humor and take on Star Wars. I’m glad I started listening. I’ve really enjoyed their take on A Galaxy Far, Far Away and adjacent discussions on films and other media

I really enjoy this show. A podcast with three comedy writers (and a multicultural mix at that, which this white dude truly appreciates), that talks about the positive reactions to the Star Wars universe that we all know and love. One of my goals is to be a guest on this show, as I think the positive vibe is one I really respond to! So, give this a listen, and you’ll really enjoy it as a Star Wars fan. The hosts have a lot of good perspectives on the developing SW universe.
